Hawkmoor
In Hawkmoor on Wednesday 11th November, we learnt about Remembrance Day and why we spend time remembering. We thought about the end of WWII and how the poppies grew in Flander's Fields. We held a two minute silence on the playground at 11am so that we could spend time remembering all of the people and animals that had fought in the war. In class, we had the opportunity to buy a poppy which we wore with pride.
